Traffic Doors 9000 Series

Traffic doors meet the need for very high traffic storage areas, with models suitable for both pedestrian and forklift traffic. Non-motorized and with safety windows, these doors enhance the ability to quickly move product.

These doors are constructed of lightweight yet rugged materials, which results in ease of maintenance and long service life. Cores are foamed-in-place high density non-CFC urethane bonded to the outer shell producing an “R” factor of 12.18 and impervious to moisture, acid, petroleum products, animal fats, rodents, insects and salt solutions.

Quick passage is enhanced by using the CMI Stainless Steel “V” cam gravity hinging system complete with bottom hinge pin assembly, closing the door immediately after passage without the use of motors. Perimeter edges are bull nosed with a minimum 5/16” radius to prevent excessive wear on the edges and mounted to an internal welded steel perimeter with corner gussets. Gasket keys are molded in place and retain gasketing without the use of screws, rivets or other fasteners. Replacement of gasketing is simple and easily done on site.

Single pane vision panels are standard, but double pane vision panels are all available. Optional polyethylene spring bumpers, impact plates, partial edge gasketing, and lower hinge guards add years to the life of your door without compromising fit or finish. The doors even come in 14 standard colors to match most any design scheme.
